Now that your registration is complete, you may begin ordering. It's simple!
**Please Note: Once an order has been processed with DirectLabs® changes cannot be made to that existing order. To add/remove tests or transfer funds to a new or existing customer, a $10 "Transfer Fee" will be charged to issue a new requisition form.
1. Order your test - it's simple and convenient to place your orders online. Once you have logged into your MyDLS® account securely with your username and password, your discounted HCP prices will be shown on the Order Tests page. Payment is processed at the time the order is placed. We accept all major credit cards. Or, you may order via telephone (800)908-0000, ext. 303.
2. Once you submit the order, you will receive an automated email confirmation that it was received and in process. Your receipt is also included in this email.
3. Within 2-4 hours, DLS generates the necessary laboratory requisition form and:
- If you have checked the box to create an account for your patient, we will create a secure online account for your patient and upload the requisition there. Your patient will receive an email with instructions on how to access their account. Your patient can also view lab locations there and submit their HIPAA form authorizing us to release their results to you.
- If your patient does not have an email address, we can mail, fax, or upload to your HCP account.
- Fasting instructions are given on the requisition.
- If a kit is necessary, we mail the kit to your patient which is usually received within 2-4 days.
4. Most results are received within 24-48 hours. You may view your patient's results online by logging in with your secure password, click here. Some tests such as hormones & amino acids usually take additional time for analysis.
5. Remember, the patient should have our toll free number (800-908-0000) with them when going to the PSC and call if they encounter any problems.
