Like testosterone, Dihydrotestosterone is an androgen, also known as a male hormone. Dihydrotestosterone is actually created from testosterone combining with a common enzyme in your body. That is because Dihydrotestosterone is one of the leading hormones for male physical growth in the embryonic and fetal stages of development.
