Description:
Total Estrogen is a measurement of overall estrogen status. Measuring estrogen levels can be helpful in screening for cardiovascular risk, bone health in aging women, estrogen producing tumors, evaluating fertility issues, and monitoring women going through menopause.
Symptoms of abnormal estrogen levels can include fatigue, hot flashes, thinning hair, irregular menstruation, cramps, mood swings and changes in blood pressure.
