Terms and Conditions

Whether placing orders via telephone or via our website, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions.

DirectLabs® is an online lab test purchasing service. By using this service, you agree to the following terms & conditions. DirectLabs® reserves the right to make changes to the terms & conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms & conditions. We’ll notify you of changes via our regular email newsletter.

  1. You agree that the information you submit during the course of purchasing a lab test from DirectLabs® is truthful and accurate.
  1. You agree to abide by the purchase and refund policies of DirectLabs®.  An order can be refunded within ninety (90) days from the date the order was placed and prior to the collection of the specimen. Requested refunds will be processed after verification that specimen was not collected by the lab.  The refund will be equal to the price of the order minus a $20 processing/administrative fee.  There are no refunds issued after ninety (90) days, however, a credit of the purchase amount can be applied to a new order.  Any order not completed within two (2) years from the date of the original purchase will be null and void and there will be no credits or refunds. *Note: Sabre Science kits are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers once processed and mailed to the customer.
  1. Your lab requisition is valid for one year from date of purchase. If you have not used your lab requisition in that one year period we can renew it at no cost for an additional one (1) year. If the lab requisition has expired and test prices have increased from the original purchase price, we reserve the right to charge the difference. If the order has not been completed at the end of the one year renewal period, the order is null and void and there will be no credits or refunds.

If a laboratory test result is outside normal range, you may be encouraged to see a physician. Many tests, to be validated, will need to be repeated at the discretion of a physician. Laboratory test results may vary depending upon age, sex, time of day blood sample is taken, diet, medications, and the limits of modern technology. A single laboratory test or group of tests cannot guarantee good health. False positive and false negative test results are possible. There are various medical diseases that cannot be uncovered by these tests alone. Testing by our medical staff only constitutes a partial evaluation of your state of health and does not represent a diagnosis or treatment of disease. DirectLabs® shall not be liable for any cost or damage arising either directly or indirectly from any transactions conducted or information conveyed on the website. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all opinions, advice, services, merchandise and other information provided through the Service. You also agree that the lab test results can be inaccurate through no fault of DirectLabs®. You understand the service provided by DirectLabs® is a service provided at your request and not suggested by our staff physician.  As an online service we do not have a traditional doctor-patient relationship.
  1. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless DirectLabs®, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to the Service from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement by you.
  1. Discount coupon codes issued by DirectLabs® are issued as a courtesy to our customers.  Coupons are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied when using Gift Certificates that were bought at a discount. Please note that not all tests are discount eligible. This will be noted in the test description.
  1. Turnaround times for test results are only provided as an estimate based on information provided by the lab company as applicable. DirectLabs® doesn’t have any control over turnaround times and thus cannot guarantee that they’ll be respected in all cases.
  1. Geographic Restrictions: DirectLabs® does not offer services to residents of New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island due to state regulations. While testing is allowed in Arizona, there are no patient service centers currently available. By using our services, you confirm that you are not a resident of these states. If you are found to be a resident of these states after placing an order, DirectLabs® reserves the right to cancel your order and issue a refund, less any applicable fees. You agree to indemnify DirectLabs® for any costs or liabilities incurred as a result of providing false residency information.
